Harbour Digital was founded in 2015 on a simple observation: the software resale industry charges enormous markups for very little added value, and almost nobody calls it out.

Tim has spent three decades in enterprise IT, e-discovery, and legal technology sales, working with law firms, corporations, school districts, and government clients across the country.

Along the way he watched the same pattern repeat: clients paying 40 to 100 percent markups to giant resellers, simply because nobody ever showed them the real number. So he started showing it to them.

On one early deal, a client had been quoted $1.6 million for security software Tim could source for about $1 million. He disclosed his cost, negotiated a fair margin, and saved them half a million dollars. That deal set the model Harbour runs on today.
